3DCanvas Plugins
I model a lot of industrial structures and bridges in 3DCanvas. Here are two plugins I wrote for 3DCanvas that I've found useful.

Piper lets you do "curved extrudes" of arbitrary faces of an object. It is most useful in creating piping runs when applied against the end of a cylinder and forming curved bridge decks. Foundry creates common structural elements quickly. The "cross section" faces are painted with unique colors so you can easily select them for deletion.
